On April 2, 2019, the construction of the “Minth Automotive Europe” factory began in Loznica. The factory will produce aluminum automotive components. The investment, valued at 100 million euros, will be implemented in two phases, with plans to employ 1,000 people.
The ceremony marking the beginning of construction was attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who stated that this investment represents a milestone for Loznica and is of great importance for Serbia as a whole.
He also emphasized that he expects more Chinese investments in Serbia in the future and further China's support for economic development of Serbia.
The Minth Group operates production facilities at more than 30 locations in China, Thailand and Mexico and supplies parts to major car manufacturers with more than 80 percent of global market share and exports to Australia, Europe, North America, Japan and Southeast Asia.
