Business in Serbia
Brose Group, as one of the leading automotive suppliers in the world, has chosen Serbia, precisely the City of Pancevo, for its new investment. The project includes the Research and Development Center and production unit, and the investment is estimated to around €180 million.
The company started the construction works for its first investment in Serbia in March 2020.
Pancevo plant will be the home of a production site for electric motors and drives. As planned, the series production of the Brose plant in Serbia should begin by the end of summer 2021. The plant is built on an area of 220.000 m2.
Brose is one of the companies that established cooperation with technical faculties and the University of Belgrade, which will enable students to gain practical knowledge within the production and future R&D center of this company. Signing the Cooperation Agreement with the Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, the connection between the companies and educational system are much strengthened and efficient, aiming to contribute to the goal of the Serbian economy based on knowledge and innovation.
