The signed Memorandum of Cooperation marks an important step toward strengthening the regional innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as improving conditions for sustainable economic growth and greater integration into the European market.

BELGRADE, June 3, 2026 – The Development Agency of Serbia - RAS and the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development, and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of North Macedonia - INOVA, have established cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Memorandum was signed by RAS Director Radoš Gazdić and INOVA Director Daniela Dimovska, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to strengthening economic ties and creating a more favorable environment for the development of a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.

The agreement envisages a more intensive exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices, as well as the development of joint initiatives aimed at improving the business environment and enhancing the region’s innovation potential.

Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting startup ecosystems, technology companies, and innovative entrepreneurs, with the goal of increasing their competitiveness in regional and European markets.

As a key institution supporting investment and enhancing the competitiveness of the Serbian economy, RAS implements a range of programs and measures focused on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, attracting investment, and promoting exports.
