Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) proudly participated, as one of the organizers, in the Serbian Economic Mission to Japan
Director of the Sector for International Cooperation, Mr. Nikola Jankovic, as a representative of RAS, had the honor of being a member of the government-business delegation in Tokyo from June 3rd to 6th. The visit aimed to introduce Japanese investors to the economic potentials Serbia offers, and to present Serbia as a reliable partner.
During the visit, delegation members had the opportunity to meet with senior officials from various ministries, engage in the Business Forum with representatives from the most influential Japan Business Federation Keidanren, and hold meetings with key corporations like Mitsubishi Corporation, ITOCHU Corporation, JTI (Japan Tobacco International) and Takeda.
Particularly significant for RAS were the meetings with top executives of companies already invested in Serbia, such as Nidec Motor Corporation and JFE Shoji Corporation, where discussions revolved around their global and future plans regarding Serbia.
