Companies from Serbia, whose participation in the International Food Industry Fair “ANUGA 2017” was organised by the SDA and SCC, according to the first estimate, have agreed business worth almost six million euros.
At the recently held fair 21 companies from Serbia presented their production programmes at two national display stands – in the pavilion of final products “Fine Food” and in the pavilion of frozen products “Frozen Food”.
Domestic presenters have more than 1400 bilateral discussions and meetings with potential partners from Germany, Poland, and other EU Member States, then from Japan, Ukraine, and other countries interested in import of food from Serbia.
“ANUGA“ Fair is the largest international fair in the world in the field of food industry and is the most significant for all manufacturers worldwide. The fair is held every second year in Cologne, in the fair space KELN MESE (Koelnmesse GmbH) covering the area of 284.000 square meters.
This year in the period 7-11 October, 7.000 presenters from 98 countries presented their offers. The fair “ANUGA 2017“ attracted 160.000 visitors from 187 countries.
Traditional participation of Serbia companies in the most respectable international exhibition of food products provides the Serbian exhibitors with the possibility to place them to the new markets, encourage the existing and acquire new business contacts.
