German Fischer Automotive Systems starts production in Jagodina

Fischer automotive systems has officially opened a factory in the City of Jagodina, which will produce automotive components and equipment for high-class vehicles.

 

The 8.000 square meters production plant is based in the Industrial Zone in Jagodina, and it will employ around 350 people at the beginning, with the possibility to even expand that number.

During the inauguration ceremony Mr. Klaus Fischer, the owner, CEO of the Holding, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Fischer Group of Companies emphasized the fact that Serbia has offered far the best conditions for their new investment while they were looking for the new location. In addition, he mentioned the great business climate and the availability of knowledge and skills resources especially when it comes to the automotive industry, which has supported their decision to invest in Serbia.

“The new location is an important cornerstone for the successful development of our company. In the future, we will produce ventilation nozzles for customers such as Mercedes, BMW, and the Volkswagen Group”, said Klaus adding that they are already considering expanding activities in Serbia.

Besides representatives of the company, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić attended the event, along with the Minister of Economy Anđelka Atanasković, and the president of the Jagodina city parliament Dragan Marković.

Fischer Automotive Systems, as a part of Fischer Group, offers solutions for car interiors, focusing on drivers’ and passengers’ experience.

Apart from Serbia, the company also operates in Germany, the USA, China, and the Czech Republic.
